Purpose

Steps

1. Input QR content: plain text / URL / Wi-Fi (auto-generates WIFI:T:...; format) / vCard / email / SMS
2. Format: PNG (default, most compatible), SVG (vector, scalable), JPG (smaller)
3. Size: 200×200 default, customizable
4. Error correction: L 7% (minimum), M 15% (common), Q 25% (outdoor/dirty), H 30% (with logo must use)
5. Color: customize foreground/background (ensure contrast)
6. Embed logo: upload PNG/SVG, auto-center (must use H error correction)
7. Export image / copy data URL

FAQ

Is higher error correction always better?

No. Higher EC means more pixels per code. L (7%) for clean displays (phone screens); M (15%) for general use (90%); Q (25%) outdoors or for soiled surfaces; H (30%) required when embedding a logo (logo covers up to 30%, needs higher EC). H is ~50% larger than L for the same data.

How much data can a QR code hold?

Theoretical max 4296 alphanumeric chars or 2953 bytes of binary. Practical: >200 chars makes the code dense (slow/failing scans). Use URL shorteners (goo.gl, t.cn) for URLs; use minimal vCard (name + phone + company); do not put a whole article into a QR code.

How to generate Wi-Fi QR codes?

Format: WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:Password;;. T = encryption type (WPA/WEP/nopass), S = SSID, P = password. Note: escape special chars (\ ; , : ") in SSID/password. Wi-Fi mode handles this automatically. Phones scan and prompt to connect, no manual password entry.

Why does my generated QR code fail to scan?

Common causes: 1) low contrast (light gray foreground on white); 2) too small (< 100px on screen or < 1.5cm printed); 3) logo too big (exceeds EC capacity); 4) inverted colors (need dark foreground on light background, not reverse); 5) distortion (stretched, folded). Use the preview to inspect details and test-scan from your phone before publishing.

Can it recognize QR codes from screenshots?

Yes. Decode mode accepts PNG/JPG/WEBP images. Drag in and the tool finds and parses the QR. Supported: screenshots, saved web images, camera photos. Limits: very blurry, severely tilted, or reflective images may fail. Try enhancing (PS brightness/sharpness) before retrying.
